HELP! I am looking for the ancestors of my great grandfather, Henry Albert Purcell, aka Pursel, Pursail - born Jan 1 1809 in Butler Co., Ohio, married Sara Ileff, Dec 10, 1837, in Wabash Co, IL, then Susan Lyon March 1853 in Fountain Co. Indiana. 1900 census has his father and mother's birthplace as Virginia, possibly Pendelton Co., Virginia. DNA shows we are related to a Thomas Purcell but don't know how. H.A. (Albert) eventually migrated via covered wagon west to Washington State. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We've looked for years for this info. Marilyn Purcell-Snapp and Jean Purcell
