Does anyone have any info on a George Purcell from Loundoun Co., VA he then moved to Fellowsville, Preston Co., WV He was born in 1776 and he died in 1869. Any information would be wonderfull Thanks Merry

All trades people] 1860 Dist. 7 Fellowsville, Preston County, Virginia George Purcell Sr. age 83 Retired Real Estate 700 Personal 200 b. Va. Malinda " " 63 b. " Martha W. " " 14 b. " Angellina Ashley " 23 Widow [probably Aryalina from above] b. " personal value 50 Ida M. " " 2 b. " William " " [no age, probably born within the year] b. " [ And living in the household prior to George's household is,] James Purcell age 32 Cabinet Maker personal value 800 b. Va. Mary " " 27 b. " Allice " " 6 b. " Mary E. " " 2 b. " Annie " " 1 b. " Alfred Baker " 27 Plasterer & Brick Layer personal 200 b. Herefordshire, Eng. George C. Purcell " 27 Real Estate Agt. " 100 b. Va. Harriet " " 19 b. Pa. This is all that I could find on short notice. This is not a part of my family, (as of now)

Thanks so much for a quick reply. I already have this information. I need to find out whose family he comes from. All us Purcell researchers are at a brick wall and I was hoping you guys could help Thanks again Merry

The census info listed Aryalina 1850 the Angellina Ashley widow 1860. I believe she is Angelina Purcell Ashby Rankin. She would be my GGG Grandmother. When she married David Rankin she had 3 children from her previous union. On the 1870 census Wharton Township Fayette Co, PA the Ashby children liste were Ida 12, William 10, Carrie 7. She and David had 7 (?) additional children. She died about 1896 and I believe is burried in Hopwood, PA.
