Patrick Purcell died in Ohio in 1952. I reckon that he was the same person born in Kilkenny, Ireland about 1880 a son of John Purcell and Kate Walsh. He emigrated to Ohio in 1906. He had a family - I think a son John. I would be interested in hearing from his descendents. Patrick also claimed his sister Elizabeth into the USA in 1911 and became a Mrs. Jones? Paul Croghan grandson of Anne Purcell(Patrick's sister)

There is a Patrick Purcell in the 1920 census for Cincinatti, Hamilton Co, OH. He is head of the family, age 36, married, immigrated 1907, naturalized citizen 1912, b. Ireland, parents born Ire., works as a polisher in the piano factory. His wife Bridget, age 32, immigrated 1903, naturalized 1912, born Ireland and parents b. Ire. They have the following children, born in OH: John, 7 !/2, Matthew, 5, and Margaret N., 1 1/2 years. I'm the editor of the PFofA newsletter.
